Sightseeing tour of Minsk – the capital of Belarus (first mentioned in 1067), considered now as
one of the most beautiful cities of the former USSR .The tour includes architectural, historical
and cultural monuments of the 17th – 18th cents., historic part of the city – Trinity Suburb
Visit to The National Museum Of History And Culture Of Belarus (permanent exhibition
of unique things made from stone, bone, wood as well as archaeological, ethnographic and other
exhibits.
Visit to The Museum Of Ancient Belarusian Culture featuring weaving embroidery, icon painting
and wood-carving.
Visit to the Open-Air Museum Of Stones.
Dinner.
Evening program: Belarusian ballet performance (opera performance) or circus – optional.
Day 3
Breakfast.
Departure for Polotsk (250 km from Minsk) – one of the oldest Belarusian cities in Belarus
(862), the center of old Slavic culture on a minivan.
Grand tour of Polotsk Historical-Cultural Reserve, including St. Sophia Cathedral (12th cent.) – a masterpiece of Belarusian architecture, Museum of Belarusian book printing, Museum and library of Simeon of Polotsk, the 17th century Belarusian writer, the tutor of Peter I , the Russian Tsar , Museum of Weaver, the Holy Saviour Church (12th cent.) with beautiful frescoes of the same time, connected with the life and activity of St. Ephrosinia of Polotsk, matron saint of Belarus Organ music performance in St. Sophia Cathedral
Departure for Vitebsk (112 km) – the city is famous for the world-known artist Marc Chagall,
who was born and worked there at the beginning of the 20th century.
Check-in at very good 3-star private “Eridan” hotel.

Sightseeing tour of Vitebsk: the city Art Museum displaying 18th – 20th cent. European works,
Old Town Hall (17th – 18th cent.), Marc Chagall House-Museum, Art-Center of Marc Chagall,

Departure for Minsk (280 km) Check-in at the Hotel.
